Drove up to Belleayre for day with Alex. This was my first time at Belleayre, and my hopes were kind of high given the blizzard Sunday/Monday. The lodge and parking were crazy packed, but lines on the mountain were not bad at all. Unfortunately, there wasn't much soft snow except in the trees, and the trees were mostly not skiable thanks to the low total base and lots of branches and shrubs and whatnot.
Not a bad day, just not great like I was hoping. Definitely nice to have finally gotten some real snow to fill things out. Belleayre is not a bad little mountain and I will definitely hit it up again when the tree area is open.
