Happened to be around the for the day 1 of the gathering, so met up with the epic crew at Vail. Crazy hail/lightning in the morning closed the lifts for about an hour, but when they opened up again around noon there was probably 5" of fresh and it kept coming down. Super super fun afternoon, borderline legit powder day. Skied mostly under the Northwoods chair due to wind/visibility and it was fuuuuuun. Trees and bumps and little drops everywhere. A+. Hung out at Bart & Yeti's for a while afterwards until the pass opened.
