Ski Sundown, Connecticut

Mix of sun and clouds. Temps climbing from the high 20s to near 40. Couple hours of SL freeski with the family for my birthday. Really fun mountain tour x2. Even got to ski on Satan's Stairway for the first time - snow wasn't great, but it was nice to get on a trail that made you think about the pitch.

Snow was the best on Canyon and Exhibition, but really it was quite good everywhere. Was able to snap off really good arcs on most terrain. Got a bit behind my feet on steeper slopes, which was frustrating. Boots were really soft, and had a hard time staying forward sometimes.

Still, overall, really good day. Happy birthday me.
