Wachusett Mountain, Massachusetts

After a quick break after returning home from Pats Peak, headed to Wachusett for night GS, a makeup from Thu, which was cancelled due to rain.

Snow, temps in the high 20s. Course set was reasonably straight, but much tighter vertically than usual, so times were pretty slow. I skied pretty well, but was decidedly missing some snap. Wish I had brought the 30m skis, would have been nice to see how they reacted to the slightly quicker tempo. I think I could have skied them well.

Generally a good night. The whole field wasn't there, of course, but I ended up third for the night, which is pretty good, if I say so myself.
