Day 1! Snowing, windy, temps in the high single digits. COVID protocols in place (wearing masks in lift line, distancing, get ready at car) all went pretty well. Happy with it.
Not that many people there, but on only one trail, it did feel a bit crowded. Took 5 runs (5K vertical) and generally felt okay. Want to check the tune, felt like I had no grip on the right ski ('18 SLs)
Pretty low intensity, just getting used to making different size turns while sliding on snow.
Happy with the day. My feet didn't hurt too much, and overall I felt like I knew what I was doing, even on a pretty variable surface - some areas were well groomed, but a lot of loose fluff over the base.
Hopefully we stay in a pretty good weather pattern and they can open more up in the next few days.
