Sunny, temps in the 20s. SL (stubby) training 11-1:30 on Twist; I got there a bit early and got a free run. Snow was okay - a bit scratchier than on Switchback - and the sets were odd. We had 3 sections of 15-20 gates. The first off the first pitch was super wide open, close to 13m. Hard to ski that effectively because I had to wait before engaging the ski, but overall it was pretty solid.
Middle section on the middle pitch was a no-rhythm 10m set, which I didn't do great at, but it was alright. Finally, there was a 10m set with a bunch of combos on the final flat. That I generally skied well.
Overall, got about 8 runs. Really fun, and I got better throughout. I hope we can move into full gates soon - the click-plant rhythm works better for me.
