Blustery, cloudy with sun occasionally poking through, temps in the teens. Midday SL lane. I skied okay - I started weak on the pitch and crushing the flats, and then as I concentrated more on the pitch, I started to have trouble on the flats, probably because I relaxed my brain a bit and went too straight. Also today, I had my first hooked tip (no fall), and my first fall (back and jetted off the tails) of the year. So that's good to get out of the way.
That said, the skiing is getting there. I'm starting to get better ski performance on steeper terrain, and I think I'm leading a bit less with the shoulders and hips. Going to have to make a tweak though - I'm starting to lose my feet when it's not that cold; I'm getting a bunch of snow in the shells, so I'm going to have to update the duct tape job, especially around the toe box.
