Skied more than I have any other day this year, starting with a training session 11-130 and then freeskiing at the Valley with Marty until 4. Sunny, starting in the mid-teens and ending up in single digits when we quit. GS set on Twist with a decent amount of swing on top and some fun playing with terrain. I ended up skiing pretty well, only ~3 sec of Peter (D1 kid) on a 40 sec course. I'll take that any day. Skiing is really starting to come around and I'm starting to trust that they'll come around a bit more, especially if I'm over them.

After training, saw Marty and skied till close. Really focused on making clean arcs with max bend on Switchback, especially on the major pitches. Definitely starting to ski well there. Really excited.
