Sunny, temps near 20F. Masters SL race in the afternoon. Low snow year, so not much coverage, but what there was was pretty sublime. Really fun area, would love to go back when there's more snow and I'm not on race skis.
SL was on the speed hill (Black Powder), so pretty flat. Some timing issues and delays with course setting (again, not a lot of snow), so everything was running pretty late. No real reset - just a redress, and we didn't get off the hill until 4.
First run, I didn't ski great - rotating a bit and just a bit behind it, but overall I was pretty happy. Second run, my feet froze during the long delay between runs, and I just didn't really have it. Scrubbed speed on nearly every turn, and just not really sending it. A bit disappointed, but I was 2nd on both runs and on the day (behind Broc), beating out a couple of others who I had expected to be ahead of me, so overall a great day.
