Snowing, windy, temps around 10F. About 1:15 of skiing on the Enforcers until close. Boot heaters on.
Started on Chet's with a nice run down a groomer to Ptarmigan - still soft, good sign. Then did a couple of laps of South Chutes, which were really quite nice, still some soft stuff, before heading back to Chet's. Really ripped a groomer down to 6, and a couple laps to finish the day. Really let it go through the terrain park area, which was super fun, if a bit bumpy. Good way to teach being centered on the ski and a little two-footed, even where it's smoother. Last run stayed skiers left as much as possible and ripped down to the groomer and then to the bottom. Big angles, lots of deflection, really good skiing.
Feeling pretty good about GS-type skiing now. It's been a while since we tried SL, but when it happens again, I'm sure it'll be fun.
Really liking this snow pattern, finally.
