Cloudy, temps in the low 20s. Midday SL training block. Joe was coaching us, it was great to get feedback and a couple of new tips.

On the '18 SLs, the older pair, for the first time since I hit them with the Razor-Tune. I think there must have been a bit of a burr, because sliding sideways was TOUGH for the first run or two of inspection/slip. But they railed great.

About 25 gate mixture of stubbies/gates up top, then a 60-gate course from the saddle down through the flats and toward the bottom. Don't know what's going on, but LSC had roped off the trail beneath the lift from the venue down (more training? a GS coming up? not sure.).

I skied .... pretty well for the first SL in a while. Got a little behind it, but the skis were doing good things and I was just a foot or two low for a couple of runs. But the skiing was generally good. Good grip and good things happening on hard snow, the few gates where it was chunky/soft, I struggled at times but others were good.

All in all, a really positive session. Let's do it again tomorrow!
