Mix of sun and clouds, flurries, temps near 20. Midday SL session. Started with a couple runs to move all the snow (3-4") off the course (saddle to the midflat; 40 gates). Then, started skiing as we got down to a good surface.
Overall, pretty happy with my skiing. Was balanced, didn't resort to sliding the ski and tried to keep arcing the whole way. Overall pretty good. Last run, big focus on having more impulse - higher magnitude of pressure right at the gate and getting off the ski early. Seemed to work pretty well. Just gotta be a bit more aggressive to the front of the ski on the steeper parts and it'll be golden.
Reto got a pair of this year's SL ski and said they came around super fast, so ... excited to get a pair for next year.
Overall, really good session. Let's do it again tomorrow.
