Sunny, temps in the mid-20s. Breezy. 1:15 of freeski on the Enforcers till close. Skis ... definitely need wax. A bit sticky. Still, started the day by beelining from Chet's down Mambo, to Ptarmigan.

Then, down South Chutes (okay - a bit of coral reef) to 9, where I got to take my first ride of the year up to the ridge. Really great to be up there, and the views off the back were exceptional. Traversed over to Super Bowl/Jelly Roll area, and tried to take it down the hill while in control and being a bit unclear about the surface.

Overall, really, it was pretty good. A bit scrapy, but there was a good layer of soft snow. I was pretty proud of how I skied, and it was super fun. Then arced back down to Ptarmigan.

Took a run skiers right of Ptarmigan past the warming hut to 6, then through the terrain park area back to Ptarmigan. Last run big fast arcs to the bottom.

Really invigorating day, and really put a smile on my face.

COVID shot #1 tomorrow, so maybe on-snow on Sunday if everything goes well.
