Sunny but skiing in shadow, temps in the mid 30s. The Q hill was closed bc of warm temps so headed to Pico for an hour of freeski to close the day. Snow was just rock hard with some dust on top in places. Ruts just frozen in. Rough.
Still, did a bit of a mountain tour and made some good turns. The trickiest part was really just that it was dark with exceptionally flat light—and with the hard surface and diminishing coverage, that was a little intimidating.
Pretty happy I got out there one more time.
