Sunny, temps in the 20s. Just a glorious day. Parked at the Valley and took the shuttle over, on snow around 9. Soft snow day! Chet’s to Ptarmigan down South Chutes, which skied surprisingly well. Up 9 to Jelly Roll, which was surprisingly bad. Super stiff wind affected snow, but still nice to be up there. Back to 9 which was on hold for a mechanical fault … so went to 4. Traversed over to 8, and the groomer was fun.

Over on 8, tried Hook em Horns, which was softening nicely but still stiff. Came back to 4 down Scrub which was a fun mogul ski. Then up 4 and over to 9 again. Four more runs off 9, Primer Bowl and Patrol Bowl. Just excellent. Super fun, deep, soft, just great. Wrapped up with some groomer runs down Fire Bowl (off Ptarmigan), Roulette (off 6), and Richards (off Chet’s).

Super fun day. Really had a good time.
