Sunny, temps rising from the mid 20s to the mid 30s. 2SL day on Twist. 4 courses. Fun day.

Overall, happy with my skiing, but a lot of it was in physical discomfort. Got better through the day, but still couldn’t make anything happen on the pitch—the flats were generally good. Every run got better relative to the field, and that’s with big errors on R2 and slightly less big errors on R3.

Given that, pretty happy. Second race was a couple tenths the out of 4th, which would have been nice. Really bummed I was in so much pain. Even if all 4 runs had been at the pain level off R4 it would have been a really good day.

Nuts. Will have to rest up, keep stretching, and get better.
