Mostly sunny, temps rising from the teens to low 20s. AM GS session on Twist. Skied pretty well, especially when I skied rounder and more patient. Really fun, surface was great. Quit around 1145.

Then, met up w Heather N for some RMM Board ski. Took the shuttle over to the Basin around 1230 and did a bit of a tour. Chet’s to Ptarmigan, down South Chutes (pretty good) to 9. Then along the S1 rope, where we got untracked turns. Headed back up 9 and went past the cat pickup and through the N1 gate for some more untracked turns to the top of 4.

Ripped some big angle arcs down to 8, then traversed all the way back to 9. North Chutes were not that good—chunky and heavy. Back to 9, down jelly roll, which wasn’t as good as the other runs off the ridge but still really good. Wrapped up the day with some big arcs down Fire Bowl/Turtle Ridge and 2 runs down Roulette.

Happy with how I’m skiing.

Back to the Valley for boots off around 330. Super fun, full day.
