Rise & Shine lesson with an au pair from Columbia who had never seen snow before. She showed up about 20 minutes late, but in the span of 40 minutes I got her able to stop and make consistent wedge turns. Great start to the day that one. Rest of the day was spent with an 8 y/o girl locked in a truck driver/gorilla stance with some confidence issues. Introduced a number of skills ("dancing robot", "crazy monster walk", "rainbow turns", "thumpers") and played around with terrain; she's a tough nut to crack, but I'll be skiing with her on Sunday. We had loads of fun, though.
