Did a 2fer with an uber late start. By the time I got to Squaw (cue PE's "By The Time I Got To Arizona") it was windejo as a mofo in the lot and about the same up top. Only lifts running when I got up there were Gold Coast and Shirley Lake. Snow was okay, but viz was washed out. Did 5 laps and then called it due to frozen feet. Decided to head over to AM and busted out a few laps there, as well. Snow was decidedly better, but viz was still sucktastic (that and I am still figuring out the lens sitch with the new goggles). 80 waisted carbon skis aren't the most ideal tool for congealed boot deep pow, but I figured 'em out and had a couple best-of-season runs to be sure.
