Late start all-day with Manuela (aka "Manu") from San Paolo, Brazil. Her boyfriend, Bruno, put her in the lesson and then took off (claimed he'd skied World Cup, while Manu claimed he had been a pro). She and I worked on building her confidence up and shaping her turns on Big Easy, "Village Run", Arrow chair, Vista, and eventually "East Ridge" to "The Flume" to "Lower Grouse Alley". Weather was funky, with slight rain in the morning, a quick smatter of slushy snow, and then clear skies in the afternoon. A little bit of a snafu in regards to lunch, but overall a solid lesson with cool people.
