Pioneer day. 8 Kids showed up. Consitions were cold--we had to take several warm-up breaks to get the kids hands and feet working properly (the comment of the day was "it feels like somebody is biting my fingers/toes"). In terms of snow, most of the stuff we skied was scraper and/or boilerplate. "Delight" was the best run of the day, followed by "Tonnini's" (on this run I stumbled upon a couple of beers stashed in a tree well--thought they were trash. Left them there to pick up later under the assumption that somebody had stashed them earlier in the season when we had snow and forgot about them). We also skied "Aspen Lift Line" twice, plus "Crosscut", which was interesting in terms of rather large, firm moguls, but the entire crew crushed it. Worked mostly on survival and skiing together tightly.
