Work Day #23 Morning spent indoors wrapping up new instructor training. Then we hit the hill for a few laps: two on "Flying Squirrel" in the trees and then over to "The Chute" and the trees off of "Lower Chute". With class wrapped I swapped into pedestrian attire and hiked "The Dog Biscuit" with my buddy Stev and we scored first tracks and a face shot or two. Came out above "Martis" with a girl and her BF staring up at us in wonder and asking "How did you get there?" Then it was down "Martis" followed by "The Face" trees and "Lower Pioneer" before calling it quits and leaving us hankering for more. Best snow of the season (and quite possibly last season, too).
