Gaper Day! Finally broke out the 225cm K2's that Phil P gave me almost 3 seasons ago. Whoa! Weather was overcast and chilly. I sported a maroon, fur collared onesy (thanks to the shoppy savvy of Kat Sander), a "vintage" N'Ice cough drops headband, and a turquoise/purple fanny pack. I was the only member of the crew with legit skis, too. Those suckers are scary, but also fun. Forgot how many laps I scored, but I skied everything that is currently open, with the exception of "Stump Alley." I showed up around 11:30 as it had froze over the night before and I was leery of the long sticks. Snow was modertely slushy with some permafrost base. Skied a few runs solo, a few with the crew, and one with Doug from EpixMix. Fun day.
