We went up Berthoud ski area, down into Currant Creek, up the shoulder towards Second Creek, dropped in, then back up Second to the Divide. The new Broome hut at Second is sweet - great little day use area with bathrooms (!!!) and water and places to eat lunch. Coverage was decent for early season - lots of surface hoar and wind deposits, and a nasty 6in depth hoar underneath.
