Got to ski on my birthday. First chance I was able to take out the Blizzard Gunsmokes this season. While it was raining at the base, at mid mountain, at the bottom of Comstock, it was dumping up top. As bad as the weather has been so far this year, and it IS early yet, it is still better than almost any day until March last year. I will take it. The Patagonia PowSlayer shell combo was amazing in the wet weather we had. It kept the moisture out yet was breathable, amazing.
