First day of 2013 and as usual, we skied. Kinda a tradition I would say. It was solid single digits when we started and rose to a balmy 13 degrees by the time I had to head to the shop. While it was cold, I skied in the Descente Reed jacket which was very as any jacket I have worn in a while. I skied one of the best hard snow skis of 2013, the stellar Nordica FireArrow 84 EDT which makes turns, short, medium and long turns with equal efficiency.
