Night GS. Cold and breezy under clear skies, temps near 20. Course sets were very quick - icy not too turny, but a high tempo and a couple swingers. First run - I skied tentative. I was a bit nervous about the ice, but I really should have just let it go. Second run, I was going for it, but I got a little late on the skates and was just crawling across the hill on the first swingy gate instead of being up high and diving down the fall line. Overall, ended up 14, which, all things considered, isn't too bad. Still, way too far off the top guys for my liking.

Really, I think I'm just being a bit too cautious and round - gotta pin it.
