Picked up my 2019-20 season pass and got on the hill. Day began sunny, temps near 30 and rising to near 40 before the clouds moved in at noon and temps came back down. After a few runs on Ptarmigan, headed over to Lift 9 to see how the ridge would ski. I was pleasantly surprised heading over to 9, as the ungroomed was still pretty fun to ski. Off the ridge, the snow was fine. Not great, not terrible - there were some good lines to be had in Castle Rock and Jelly Roll. Apparently Super Bowl and everything past Gate 2 is closed - looks like there have been some slides. Bummer - that's where I like skiing best.

After a few runs off the ridge, clouds moved in and visibility got pretty limited, so wrapped the day up by ripping groomer laps of Ptarmigan and Lift 6. All in all a really fun day. Let's do it again tomorrow.
