Cloudy skies becoming sunny and clear by around 11 AM. Temps warming from the mid-30s to the low 40s. Didn't freeze meaningfully overnight, so snow went from sugary to corny to mashed-potatoes-glop through the day. Really nothing great for race training, but we did a lot of directed freeskiing with a focus on a strong transition and a focus on the outside ski. The general public was out in strength, and there were a lot of people on Q's two trails, which made doing anything organized a bit of a challenge.
Overall, the skiing was decent, and if it were late March, would be a pretty decent day to just rip around.
Hopefully it gets cold in the next few days.
