Mostly sunny. Temps rising from the high teens to near 40. SL race, RMM combined with Tatry, which is a Polish ski club based out of Chicago. Total field about 70. Got to the parking lot and discovered I forgot my wallet. Fail. Ran into Cal and he graciously paid for my lift ticket. I owe him.

It snowed 4-5” overnight, which I had no idea. Knee didn’t like that much, since there was nothing smooth/groomed down to the course. We slipped for EVER, but finally got started. Course was short, relatively flat, and set super across the hill with a lot of distance. The hill had some legit pitch, but that was all above the SL.

First run, not much attack, but solid. Second run was similar, but way softer with weird ruts, and I really skied tentative out of the start before letting it go on the dead flat.

Ended up 4th overall, so pretty good! 3rd of the RMM folks. Happy.

I see the appeal of Breck. Super pretty, huge area. I’d like someone to show me around one day.
