Plunked down on a Night Pass and got in my first groomer/zoomer turns of the season. HIgh level beginner/low level intermediate WROD strip with park features on skiers left and a clean lane on the right. Banged out 10 laps just to get the cobwebs out of the feet. The only other skiers not using the park scared the F@#K out of me and made it hard to keep a separation of church and state, not only because of their safety, but also mine. I just managed to never be on the slope at the same time as them; I still felt like I was betraying some kind of ski instructor hipocratic oath, but the mountain patrolers didn't seem to see --or if they did, think--that these patrons were a hazard. Still, it boggles the mind that somebody who can't turn or stop would straightline right through the middle of the park (let's not even get into the fact that they weren't wearing a helmet and yard-saled at least a dozen times while I was there). The fact that they kept getting back up and repeating the carnage at least signaled to me that they were having fun (or just hella tenacious). At any rate, I survived unscathed.
