Day 2 of the road trip. Went back to Huckleberry Inn to redeem myself with a full stack (sans hashbrowns this time). Was the only one of us who polished off all three griddle cakes. Hit the hill a bit later today to avoid the slickness, however things had warmed up quite a bit and the snow was pretty darn soft around 9. Skied off piste a bit to avoid the crowds and then hiked to the snowfield on the other side with Stev. We had a couple really nice, long, smooth runs. Called it a day after one more legit run at the resort. Did manage to score some fresh cordoroy at the bottom as we somehow timed our descent to the parking lot with the end-of-day grooming: soft-serve figure 8's were pretty fun. Scarfed a Cobra Dog at Govy before heading to Bend to re-stock on kombucha and enjoy some libatory relaxation at Crux. Got back to Tahoe around 3:30 am. Boom! Done.
