Rise n' Shine private with Rylie, a young lass I had taught 2 years ago. This was her first time back on skis since then (discounting yesterday when she had a private with somebody else). Started out using an edgy-wedgie (aka "the rubber band", Rylie did not like my name for it: the hookey-dook). Ended the lesson free of the device and starting to make a left turn. Was available, but let go after lunch. Went out to schuss "West Ridge" and "Stump Alley" a few times to legitimize the day as a ski day. After 3 runs I hooked-up with Tim Donahue and we banged out a few more laps on the Alley, along with some mini-straightlines on a section of "The Corridor" running back into "Luggi's". For the most part the snow was carveable speed slush up high, albeit dotted with malleable moguls on "Stump Alley", and thick glop and just plain old sticky slush down lower. Good solid hour of mucking about, though.
