Ragged Mountain, NH

Sunday, December 9, 2018

Cloudy, temps rising from the low single digits to the high teens during the morning. Made a bunch of turns with a Q athlete all over the mountain. Snow was generally pretty good - hard and grippy, but there were sections that were very slick and there was a layer of bally stuff (almost death cookies) in most places. That said, we worked on being aggressive into the turn and clearing the inside knee, both things I need to work on too, and I skied better as the day wore on, so that was encouraging. The '17 SLs definitely need sharpening though. All in all a very good 2.5-3 hrs of skiing.
