Beautiful day - sunny, temps rising from -5 in the morning to around 15. Snow was absolutely perfect. Hard, dense, and grippy. Started the day with a fun GS set on Face. Kids skied well for the most part, considering the first day on GS skis for many, and the snow allowed them to be really aggressively. I was pretty warm until I snapped the hotronic cable on my right boot midmorning. Then that foot got pretty cold. After lunch, came out on the '17 SLs and ripped a bunch of turns all over the mountain. Super fun, really high edge angles, really great response out of the skis. Best snow was over on TBar, but face was a very close second. Super fun. Probably my favorite skiing of the year so far. Can't wait to do it again.
