Mostly cloudy, temps in the low 30s. Cut out from work a bit early and got to Wachusett around 4:15. Took my time before getting on the hill for 4 strong runs of SL freeski. Snow consistency has completely changed. Wachusett claims they received over 2 ft of snow with this last storm, so the natural stuff was way grippier and more responsive than the surface a few days ago.
My right foot felt okay after the initial pain/cramp today, but my left foot didn't get out of it. I think if I had hydrated properly, it would have. We're close, I think.
Nice to get back on snow and feel good about my skiing. Made some really strong arcs today. Happy.
