Bluebird morning before work - just up for a couple of runs. Temps in the low 20s following a few days of warm and rain. Blowing snow all over the mountain. Took a couple of runs on Challenger and one on Ralph's - Challenger definitely in better shape. Snow was really quite fantastic until the final pitch - not too hard not too soft, grippy. Final pitch was super rattly and way harder than the rest of the hill - maybe it fared the worst in the warmth/rain, or maybe they just hadn't been making snow there for very long.
Overall, I skied pretty well, and it was fun. I still am not even coming close to hydrating correctly. Really have to work on that.
Still, really good morning. Pretty great way to start my day.
