Mix of sun and clouds. Temps in the low 30s. Midday SL block. I was way overdressed. Really overheated and short of breath.
Didn't help that Graham ate it into and over the B-net as the first one. Kind of put me off my game mentally. That said, a bit of a struggle today. Both courses were tricky, with larger distances at the start that shortened up and really stacked up toward the middle/end.
I really didn't agree with the top course, and spent many runs doing drills on the groom to the side instead. Last run, however, I NAILED it. Way more aggressive to the outside ski, and it just snapped around. Athletic, good skiing.
Lower course, I only made it all the way on 1/6 runs. Really not a good ratio. That said, there was a lot of good skiing in sections. Really just kept messing up the same couple gates each run.
Pretty happy overall. Let's do this.
