Overnight snow, so training cancelled. Terrible traffic on 70 in the AM, so I waited to leave until 1:15 or so. Ended up on snow around 2:45 for some freeski. Temps in the low teens, very windy, snowing. Blowing snow. Snow off of Chets was phenomenal, then went to take a run on 6. The lift ride wasn't great - super exposed and windy made it uncomfortable. Then, took a run and all the blowing snow above treeline made seeing pretty difficult and had to ski fairly defensively until I made it back below the trees; snow was phenomenal in the ungroomed, but ... really didn't know where I was going/what the ground looked like. Decided to lap Chets for the last 5 runs. Really fun. Good snow. Hopefully this week the sun will come out and there will be fun off of 4 and 8 to be had.
