Snowing (storm moving in), temps around 20F. An hour of freeski in the afternoon after a pretty miserable morning (water heater broke, replacement, etc.). Just trying to lighten the mood a bit. Took the Enforcers for a short tour, five runs. Took Chet's, ripped down to Ptarmigan, and then down Bennett's Bowl, which was really fun. Made some tight arcs down Turtle Road, actually felt decent, down to 6. Then a run on Roulette (eh, I wasn't forward enough), and then another on Deuces Wild, where I really skied well all the way to the bottom. Wrapped up with a quick lap on 2. If I can ski like that on race day/in a course, I'll be happy.
