Overcast, flurries, cold, temps in the mid-single digits. GS day. First run, I skied okay, but super tentative--sliding the top of the turn and skiing super round when it didn't really warrant it. No major mistakes, but ... not aggressive, no big angles, and nothing great. Further back than I think is acceptable. I set second run, and by all accounts, it ran well. I, however, got slightly aft on the top flat, and just bent the tail and got absolutely launched. Came down pretty hard on my hip and banged my skis, but thankfully avoided the B-net. So close to being a good turn, I really committed and got the skis up on edge.
