Sunny, temps rising from -5 to around 20 F during an AM SL session. Day started very cold, skis barely moving, and I learned that one of the Hotronic batteries was dead. Sad. As the sun rose, it got nicer. Stubbies off the top, and then a 40-gater from about leaning tree down on skiers left.
The tall gate course had a very tricky combo going onto the pitch. Overall, I skied the tall course well. Tough not to look down at stubbies. But on the "real" course, I'm happy with most of my skiing. I should focus on arcing a bit more, but cutting off the top of the turn works well too.
Really happy with the day.
