Temps in the mid-teens, mix of sun and clouds. 2 SL day. First race set was very direct down the pitch, then full charge with a bit of swing on pitch. Both runs made mistakes out of the start and then skied the rest pretty well. Second run thought I'd given it all away and just crushed the bottom, wound up 2nd to Trunks. I'll take it. Second race, legs were dead. Low light, big holes, big swing. Just didn't have it first run. Second run skiing a lot better until the top/mid pitch, when my pole broke. I tried blocking everything with my full pole, maybe I should have just tried to block with my hand. Not sure. Either way, didn't quite have it. Only a second out of 2nd, but wound up 5th. Good day.
