Overcast, temps around 10F. Midday GS session with U16s. Only the second day in GS gates this year, not ideal, and the set was pretty tight and needed to be way more active than I was used to.
Decided to break out the 2013 GSs again to see if the feeling was better than the 2023s, and ... I think it might be.
Took 6 runs - 4 runs of sections, 2 full length. Where it was relatively flat, skied really well. In the middle. ... pretty scrambly but really I was pleasantly surprised. There's some jumping but hopefully minimizing the sliding and braking.
