Overcast, becoming snowy. Temps rising from the low 20s to the low 30s. SG race day. Set was more normal, roughly 38m the whole way, decent swing. Made a go of it on the 202s. The just… didn’t hold. I don’t know. I was in good positions on the first few gates and was sliding, and that just killed any confidence. Still, first run, made a few good turns and paired them up with big mistakes. Second run, the light went super flat and I skied flat-out scared. Gross. Oh well. Locked up the Class 2 season title at least. Pretty pleased with that, if not the skiing. We'll work on initiating turns all spring.
