Sunny, temps around 30. Beautiful day for a SL race. Legs, unfortunately, feeling kind of heavy. First run set skiers left was a major worker. Short distance, big offset. I skied, felt terrible, made some big mistakes, and somehow it was decent relative to the field. Second run set skiers right was more normal, a bit more distance. Still decent swing. My legs were just toast once I got to the saddle. Fought to the finish but it was pretty dirty. 2 1st, 5 2nd, 2 overall. I’ll take the podium.
