EPIC DAY. 20" knee deep all day, the trees were unreal, fresh tracks and face shots at 4pm. ridiiiiiculous!!! one of my best powder days in years :) w/ andy, claire, and dave
Did some Clif sampling at Loveland-- COLD day, but eventually warmed up after a delicious hot choc/chai/espresso break :) Skied with Becky and Richie. Can tell that Loveland is a good mtn, but not too much was open. Great people, great vibe, nice to ski a new mountain. Would love to go back and hit up the ridge! :)
A cold day, but super fun, soft snow! Went with Dave, met up with Andy, Claire and C's friend. Ran into Ted and Zack, and also Robert and his dad! Crazy to run into people, esp at Vail. Tried to ski in places that I normally don't go. Hit up Highline at the end of the day-- tired legs!!
Great day volunteering at Eldora w/ Ignite! Good conditions, great day w/ 2 very different students. SUNNY and warm!! :) Felt like spring...maybe I shouldn't be happy about that...
Spent the day at Breck w/ Andy, Sara, Chris, & Noel. Good fun just ripping it up, but man...I hate how Breck opens things that SHOULD NOT be open. Rocks everywhere-- luckily didn't get a core shot, but was definitely cursing Vail Resorts a lot of the day. The Burn was super fun, but sketchy at the end. Drinks with Dave and others at Backcountry Brewery after.
a great cruisy day with Brittany and Lynn. Pretty decent coverage and first day Corona was open. Delicious hot choc break and a 1/2 beer at the end while listening to music at my favorite eldora bar :)
BEST POWDER DAY YET!!! NO lines, bluebird, and knee deep at vail. uuuunreal! merry christmas to me! hung out mostly in siberia/mongolia area. fresh tracks, no one there. one of my best days at vail. :)
training clinic with Ignite Adaptive Sports. Lots of snow most of the afternoon-- cold and windy too! But a good day with the program, even though the conditions weren't the best on the mountains. More snow coming!
COLD day. About 1 degree out. Soft snow and great early season conditions. Definitely the less crowded of the mtns. Ran into Robert. Neck was hurting so took it easy. Skied with Dave, Hunter, Springer, Andy and Noel.
7" of new snow! Brittany's birthday wknd in WP-- 13 people in our crew! Choppy conditions, but soft snow. Only 2 intermediate runs open, but still skied til 4pm. Hurt my neck/back on a fall (stupid snowboarder).
