Day 2. Was hoping for powder, but hot white rain, instead. Was worried that the 180 SoSs might be too long now. It didn’t feel that way, but I really need to ride the 180 and 173 back-to-back.
Day 24. Taking it easier on the knee today. It's been a loooong time since I went screaming down Mainstreet making railroad tracks. Worked with Sam some, did Schlopy drills on Mainstreet, and made a few runs with Marv and Jerry. Great day in the snow and rain on the Harts.
Day 19. Does it count as a ski day if I never made a run, or rode the chair, or got in the lift maze, or, really even managed to remain upright with both skis on for more than 30 seconds?? Telemark ski bindings SUCK!
Day 18. Skiing with friends (Jenny, Ruth, and Dave) in the sunshine!! RTMs are rockin it!! Hit the Masters course on Buck twice. Dan says it was nice to see I haven't lost "it" and I had nice angles, but needed more aggression. Same old issue, but it was gratifying to nail the course so well. Spent the afternoon on the Abyss.
37 runs, 7.2 mi, 26.8 max (Cheers), 16.7 ave, 4:46
Day 15. Fast, soft snow in the rain. High edge angles and high speeds = BIG GRINS! Finally a chance to really lay the RTMs over, and I was NOT disappointed! Suddenly the racer-girl inside appeared. :-)
11 runs, 2.25 mi, 36.6 max (Charlie), 21.1 ave, 1:37
