Overcast with flurries, temps near 30. About 90 min of free ski in the middle of the day. Even though it was blowing hard and in the 20s, I was overheating. Oops.

Since Loveland was reporting 7” overnight, got up to the ridge asap. First run down the rope line skiers left of Castle Rock was sublime. Really good. Next run, the light really went out, so I stayed left near the cat track before making good deep turns down No. 4 Headwall. Fun. Wrapped up the day with a lap down Bennett’s and another off 6.
