Ski Sundown, CT

Tuesday, January 1, 2019

On the 25th anniversary of my first day on snow, it was warm and overcast. Temps in the high 50s for the annual 1/1 ski with my dad. Snow was surprisingly good and firm. Did a mountain tour in both directions in a couple of hours. Best snow was on exhibition, Canyon, and Temptor. Gunbarrell was okay, but the snow was a bit inconsistent. Sundown looks pretty good, but there are definitely some brown spots showing. Should be okay with a couple days of cold. Hopefully we get some soon...
